The Research & valuation team offers a wide range of real estate advisory services, market research & forecasting and valuation of different types of commercial real estate throughout the country.
Advisory
Based on the competence and experience we possess, we can offer accurate and tailor-made advisory services within property development, leasing and sales/acquisition of commercial real estate.
Examples of advisory/consulting projects:
- Scenario/opportunity studies and analysis, and recommendation, of development strategy for specific land plots
- Advisory/consulting on issues dealing with the choice of developing or selling a property
- Analysis of economic impact and risk elements in connection with choice of location
Market research, analysis, reports and presentations
We have in-depth knowledge of the commercial property market, and regularly produce general and custom-made reports and market presentations for a variety of clients. In addition, we publish a research report, The Norwegian commercial property report, which is distributed twice a year. The report provides a broad and thorough analysis of the market, including our forecasts for future market movement.
Valuation
External and independent valuation of commercial real estate is important to many property companies, funds, investors and financial institutions. Akershus Eiendom performs property valuations for a wide range of clients on a quarterly, half-year or yearly basis. Valuations are used either for internal porposes or to with respect to financing purposes toward banks or investors.
We have delivered valuations of real estate worth approximately 200 billion NOK during the last two years, more than 900 different properties. During 2008, we performed more than 80 advisory and valuation projects for more than 50 different clients.
